For students registered with the Centre for Accessibility writing at the Accommodated Exam Centre, please review the Exam Identification Sheet that you will be asked to complete with all Allard exams invigilated by CfA.
Examplify: Installation, Exam Information & Demonstration Recordings
In order to use Examplify to take exams on their personal laptop computer, students must first complete an online exam consent form on Workday. Normally, once a student has completed an online exam consent form, the student’s consent is valid for the student’s entire Allard Law student career. To access the consent form:
- Log in to myworkday.ubc.ca.
- Go to your profile (top right corner, click View Profile).
- Select Personal, then Additional Data.
- Click Edit under Law Online Exam Consent Form to update your consent.
The latest version of Examplify that should be used by Allard Law students is 3.9.0. All Examplify users should use a laptop with a supported operating system so that their laptop can run Examplify. The latest laptop operating system requirements to use Examplify on a Mac or PC on the ExamSoft custom home page for Allard Law.
Important Note: The following are not licensed for Allard Law: Examplify for iPAD. ExamID, and ExamMonitor.
Final examinations for the 2025-2026 Academic Year will be held in-person, and the examinations will be run in secure mode using ExamSoft's Examplify software. Secure mode means that students will not be able to access the internet or applications other than Examplify on their computer while taking their exams.

Drop-in Help for Examplify
Drop-in help for any questions about using Examplify is available on the following dates:
- Tuesday, November 25, 12:30-2:00pm
- Wednesday, December 3, 12:30-2:00pm
- Thursday, December 4, 12:30-2:00pm
All drop-in times will be held in Room 153.

Whatever your symptoms – whether COVID-19, flu or cold related - we all need to make sure we stay home and avoid bringing sickness to the law school. To request an exam deferral, review the online concession information and reach out to your Allard Law Advisor prior to the exam.
