Peter A Allard School of Law

Become a Client

The Business Law Clinic seeks to assist British Columbians who:

  • Require legal advice regarding non-contentious small business or non-profit matters;
  • Have limited means of paying for legal advice; and
  • Can visit the Allard School of Law in person or via video conferencing for an appointment.

Intakes will be in January. Applications will be reviewed over the Winter and Intake Interviews for accepted applications will be scheduled closer to September.

The Clinic is accepting applications for intake. However, those submitting an application during the academic year may be waitlisted depending on Clinic availability. If you have any questions, contact us.

Due to the nature of the Clinic being offered on a term basis as part of an academic year (September to December & January to April), the Clinic is not appropriate for matters that require a fast turnaround time or are otherwise time-sensitive. Clients must be comfortable that deliverables are produced over the course of an academic term and are subject to the rigours of an ongoing education.
