Tory is a Career Advisor in the Career Services Office. She provides career advising to Allard students and recent alumni, and assists with planning the CSO’s annual programming and resources. She works closely with the legal, business and non-profit community to identify recruitment opportunities for Allard students and alumni. She received her B.A. from St. Francis Xavier University and her J.D. with a specialization in social justice from the University of Ottawa. Tory was called to the Bar in Ontario and British Columbia in 2021.

Michelle is the Events Manager at Allard Law.

Julie Carlsten is the receptionist at the Allard School of Law.

Lindsay is the Manager of Development at the Allard School of Law.

Serene provides administrative support to the Student Affairs Office. She looks forward to supporting law students to achieve their academic goals.

Jie Cheng is an Associate Professor of Law and Associate Dean Graduate and Professional Programs at the Peter A. Allard School of Law, University of British Columbia. Her teaching and research interests include Chinese law and government, comparative constitutional law, judicial politics, and the Hong Kong Basic Law. Before joining UBC, she taught at Tsinghua University School of Law from 1999 to 2019.

Andrea is the HR & Operations Coordinator. She is responsible for administering human resources and facilities policies and procedures for the successful operations of the Allard School of Law.

Cherry Chiu is the Admissions Clerk.
