Peter A Allard School of Law

Allard Careers & Events (ACE)

What is ACE?

ACE is our dedicated website for career-related services and resources. ACE is where Allard School of Law students and alumni can:

  • Search Job Postings
  • View Career Events
  • Schedule an Advising Appointment
  • Access Handouts

Only Allard School of Law students and alumni can access ACE (a UBC Campus-Wide Login (CWL) account is required).

Create an ACE Account

We automatically create ACE accounts for incoming Allard School of Law students, who receive instructions on accessing their ACE account at the start of their degree.

Allard School of Law alumni continue to enjoy ACE access after graduation. Allard School of Law alumni who graduated prior to ACE's Summer 2018 launch may request an ACE account via a short online questionnaire.

Privacy Notification

ACE is hosted on 12Twenty, and is used by us to manage career-related services and resources, and to track employment outcomes.

On 12Twenty, student and alumni biographic details and individual employment outcomes are only viewable by them and assigned staff within the Allard School of Law. Employment outcome data is also utilized by 12Twenty in aggregate as part of the broad database set that the Allard School of Law uses to aid its students and alumni with career research. No other parties have access to this information within 12Twenty.

12Twenty is a cloud-based service and personal information within the system is stored in Canada (the data is kept secure with encryption).
