Peter A Allard School of Law

Are All Charter Rights Non-Absolute?

Join Peter A. Allard School of Law Professors Brian Bird and Hoi Kong for a conversation moderated by Professor Camden Hutchison on whether all Charter rights can be considered non-absolute.

Founded in 2016, the Runnymede Society is a national student membership organization dedicated to the ideas and ideals of constitutionalism, liberty and the rule of law. We invite speakers from all across the ideological spectrum to debate legal ideas that engage the rule of law, constitutionalism, and individual freedom. The goal is to focus on these age-old principles in the context of real issues that are not often explored in the law school classrooms.
