The Student-Lawyer Connections Program is a new initiative designed to foster informative, one-on-one connections between Allard School of Law students and practicing business lawyers in Vancouver. This program gives students a chance to learn about different areas of business law, gain real-world insight into legal practice, and receive informal advice and guidance. For lawyers, it’s a chance to give back to the legal community and support the next generation of practitioners.
For Lawyers:
Are you a business lawyer in the Vancouver area interested in giving back and supporting the next generation of legal professionals? Consider participating in the Student-Lawyer Connections Program, which offers a structured, low-commitment opportunity to provide information and advice to one or more law students.
This program offers Vancouver business lawyers the opportunity to connect with interested law students who are eager to learn more about careers in business law. By participating, you’ll help students better understand the profession, share insights from your own career path, and contribute to the development of future legal talent in the business law community.
If you’re interested in meeting with one or more law students for an informal coffee chat or one-on-one conversation, please register via the link below. No commitment beyond a single meeting (or Zoom call) is required. We'll contact you directly once we begin matching registered students and lawyers.
For Students:
If you’re a student of the Allard School of Law (any year) interested in connecting with business lawyers in Vancouver through this program, please register via the link below. We'll contact you directly once we begin matching registered students and lawyers.
