Profile
Jacqueline Hope Fitzpatrick is a doctoral student at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. Jacqueline’s research interests surround sustainable corporate governance and accountability. Her current doctoral research examines the political economy of sustainable corporate law and governance in Canada. Through a mixed methods approach, her research explores why and how privately-owned Canadian corporations are to be held publicly accountable for social and environmental sustainability considerations in their corporate strategy and decision-making. The project includes a case study of corporations in the Canadian food and beverage manufacturing industry.
