Clare C. Benton is a master’s student at the Peter A. Allard School of Law under the supervision of Dr. Carol Liao. Clare’s research focuses on the issue of gender-based bullying, harassment and discrimination within the legal profession and how professional regulation could be used to effectively address gender-based misconduct. Clare has practiced litigation since her call to the bar in 2011 and is currently a non-practicing member of the Law Society of British Columbia.
