Interested in learning how to write and pitch opinion pieces to news outlets? Allard Law faculty and graduate students in research-based programs are invited to join us on March 29 to hear from Globe and Mail Opinions Editor Adrian Lee about how to effectively write and pitch your op-ed idea. Adrian will share insights into how to make it likelier that you get an op-ed pitch accepted, how best to structure it when you’re writing it, and how to channel your expertise and insight into accessible and sharp writing for the general public.
This session will take place online. A Zoom link will be provided via email. Please RSVP by March 27.
Adrian Lee is an editor and writer in the Globe and Mail’s opinion section and the host of City Space, the Globe’s podcast about the future of cities. Before taking this job in 2018, he was the Comment editor at Maclean’s Magazine, and he has worked or written for The Canadian Press, CBC TV and Radio, Agence France-Presse, and the Atlantic.
