The Equity Diversity and Inclusion Office (EDI) acts as a service unit, working collaboratively with other Allard Law units, students, faculty and staff to support education, training, guidance and consultation focused on creating inclusive environments and anti-racism. Our goal is to facilitate and promote growth and change within the Allard School of Law to build communities of equity, belonging and inclusion.
We look forward to connecting with units across the Faculty to help with capacity building.
Here are some ways we can help:
- Supporting ideas to advance equity, diversity and inclusion within the law school from conception to completion.
- Creating or facilitating educational training on topics around respectful environments, inclusive teaching practices and inclusive excellence.
- Potential funding towards events or initiatives you are running.
- Connecting you to specific EDI resource documents and policies.
