Allard Law Professor and Indian Residential School History and Dialogue Centre Academic Director Dr. Mary Ellen Turpel-Lafond, Aki-Kwe, has been appointed an Officer to the Order of Canada, one of the country’s highest civilian awards.
A $1.8-million grant from the federal government will support a cross-Canada research team in creating easy-to-use, equity-focused tools for diagnosing Canada’s housing needs and identifying the best land for affordable housing. We spoke with Allard Law professor Alexandra Flynn about the project.
The Allard School of Law is pleased to congratulate Professor Debra Parkes on being awarded the 2021-2022 Jim Taylor, QC Faculty Scholar Award. The award honours highly dedicated faculty members who have consistently gone above and beyond to give more than their fair share to the law school.
