Congratulations to Dean Catherine Dauvergne on being one of 26 lawyers recognized with a Queen’s counsel (QC) designation this year.

Dean Dauvergne is a leading voice in immigration and refugee law, an area she has worked in for over 25 years. In 2012, she was named a Fellow of the Pierre Elliot Trudeau Foundation in recognition of her contributions to public discourse in Canada.

The QC designation is the most prestigious form of recognition for members of the legal profession and is recognized in Commonwealth jurisdictions around the world. Read the full announcement on the Minister of Attorney General website.
