The Social Compact Between Businesses, Government, and Society: Is the West Out of Balance?

Should the “social compact” between citizens, businesses, and governments be redefined or reimagined in response to economic shifts, labor market challenges, migration, educational gaps, demographic workforce shifts, and evolving environmental conditions? This question is addressed within various contexts, such as political instability in Europe, political transitions in the U.S. and Canada, the emergence of new geopolitical strategies, and AI. Framed within an enterprise-academy collaborative framework, the discussion gathers distinguished business leaders and academics exploring the evolving role of businesses in society, their complex interactions with governments, and what it takes to leverage collective innovation and expertise.

Lunch will be provided for all in-person registrants.
