Sisters in Spirit Vigil

Event Description

Join the ILSA & ILS in honouring the lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit individuals. On Friday, October 3rd, from 4:30 to 6:30pm in the Lew Forum, we will hold a candlelight vigil at the reflection pond to remember those lost, support grieving families, and create a space for collective healing. Standing together, we can call for meaningful action and justice on this urgent issue.

We are honoured to be joined by Musqueam Elder Jewel Tomas, whose presence and words will guide us in ceremony and reflection. 

Mental health support will be provided by Gloria Cardinal from SVPRO.
