Event Description
Join filmmakers Stephen Herman and Evelyn Neaman, the Allard School of Law, and the Lawyers Assistance Program of BC (LAPBC) for a private screening of the documentary film, Retirement on Trial. This captivating film is about a lawyer who decides to make a film about his quest to seek guidance in preparing himself and his colleagues for the significant psychological life transition of retirement. The film features interviews with nine Allard Law alumni amongst other members of the legal community. While the focus of the film is on retirement in the legal profession, the film is sure to provide anyone at any stage of their career with insights into this important phase of life.
The 50-minute film will be followed by a panel discussion with the film’s directors along with some of the judges and lawyers featured in the documentary. This event has been approved for Professional Development Credits from the Law Society of BC.
