Peter A Allard School of Law

Promoting Diversity & Belongingness

Event Description

The Equity Diversity and Inclusion Office at Peter A. Allard School of Law is excited to invite you to participate in a series of Community Listening & EDI Update Sessions as part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and community-engaged EDI policymaking. These sessions are aimed at allowing students to engage with Allard Law EDI initiatives through meaningful conversations about inclusivity, belonging, equity, and diversity within our community.

These small-group discussions will provide a space to reflect on key questions such as:
• What does belonging mean to you at Allard Law?
• How can we strengthen inclusion, particularly for Historically, Persistently, or Systematically Marginalized (HPSM) groups?
• How can legal education be more sensitive to HPSM groups?
• What EDI competencies should lawyers develop for effective legal practice?

Your insights and lived experiences are invaluable in shaping a more inclusive and equitable environment at Allard Law. These conversations will help us identify concrete steps toward meaningful change.

We encourage you to participate in this important initiative. Please register your attendance using the following link:
