The objective of this webinar is to mobilize knowledge from a research project charged with making recommendations to the Office of the Federal Housing Advocate, regarding the human rights dimensions of encampments across Canada. Presenting findings from selective case studies conducted in three different provinces (BC, Ontario, Quebec) we will juxtapose the regulation of encampments with the right to housing and human rights framework as set out in the National Protocol on Homeless Encampments in Canada (Farha & Schwan, 2020).
