LSLAP Info Kickoff: Your First Step to Legal Advocacy

Event Description

At the Law Students' Legal Advice Program (LSLAP), you get to work on real files for real clients. We help in a very wide variety of areas of law, including residential tenancy, human rights, criminal law, and much more. LSLAP is highly unique in that students get to work on every part of a legal file from start to finish (including potentially appearing before court!), under the supervision of our friendly and knowledgeable Supervising Lawyers — all while serving lower-income clients in the BC Lower Mainland who would otherwise be unable to afford legal assistance.

Come hear more about our program and how to join, and hear from current students and our Supervising Lawyer! A light lunch will be provided.
