We warmly invite you to join us for our upcoming Language, Law & Justice Workshop, featuring talks from a range of speakers, including wrongfully convicted Kristine Bunch, Roosevelt Glenn, John Kamara, Amanda Knox, Greg Mingo and Maria Shepherd as well as legal expert Tamara Levy from the UBC Innocence Project. The workshop is designed to bring people together from different disciplines, namely those working or involved in the fields of Law or Linguistics and through sharing our work, discuss how we can move forward and continue to draw awareness to certain societal issues, including but not limited to, crimes of sexual violence and wrongful convictions.
The Language, Law & Justice Workshop will take place from Wednesday 18-20 May 2022 from 8:00am-12:30pm (PST) on Zoom.
