Are you interested in Federal issues and areas of law (e.g., administrative law, immigration/refugee, IP, human rights, maritime, tax, and environmental)? Do you want to live in Ottawa for a year after law school? Do you have strong legal research, writing, and editing skills? Consider applying for a judicial clerkship with the Federal Court and the Federal Court of Appeal!
Justice Manson of the Federal Court will speak on Zoom about the law clerk experience and application process for the clerkship program at both the Federal Court of Appeal and the Federal Court. This session will be recorded, and the recording will be posted in ACE’s Resource Library.
Students who are unable to attend this session may visit the Federal Courts’ website, view the job listing on ACE, or see the CSO's 2022/23 Judicial Clerkships handout in ACE’s Resource Library for more information. The application deadline for a 2022/23 Federal Courts Clerkship is January 11, 2021. Students in 2L and above are eligible to apply for 2022/2023 Federal Courts clerkships, but all students are welcome to attend this session.
