CMS is thrilled to invite you to its Research Conference 2025 at the xʷθəθiqətəm (Place of Many Trees), Liu Institute for Global Issues, on May 1-2, in conjunction with UBC Okanagan. Featuring the Allard School of Law's Catherine Dauvergne as a discussant, this annual conference brings together scholars and practitioners to examine the complex dynamics of migration and mobility in our interconnected world. The 2025 theme, Migration, Mobilities, and Changing Political Landscapes, explores how evolving political contexts influence migration patterns, policies, and lived experiences. In addition to panel presentations, the conference will feature a keynote film screening with multimedia presentations from film participants and a roundtable on policy-engaged research.
