Charting Your Legal Career as a First-Generation Student

Are you the first in your family to pursue post-secondary education and looking for guidance on navigating law school and building a successful legal career? If so, the Allard Suits Club and the First Generation Student Program invite you to join us for “First-Gen Lawyering 101,” a panel event taking place on Friday, February 28th at 12:30 PM in Room 106 of Allard Hall.

At this event, you’ll hear from a diverse group of first-generation (“first-gen”) lawyers from various practice areas and career stages. They will share their experiences overcoming common challenges faced by first-gen students and lawyers, discuss what inspired them to pursue their goals, reflect on lessons learned throughout their careers, and offer practical advice for your own legal journey.
