How are lawyers helping to build a more sustainable economy? What legal skills do you need to advise clients about environmental and social risks? How can you be a good business lawyer AND help to reduce the negative impacts of business on society and the environment? To find out, please join us on Zoom from 12:30-1:20 pm on Wednesday, November 16th!
During this virtual panel discussion, we will hear from three speakers with special expertise in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters. These speakers have extensive experience working with ESG in a wide range of practice areas, including corporate commercial law, environmental & Aboriginal law, and private equity/venture capital.
The discussion will provide practical career tips and insights into particular practice areas, and will explore recent controversies surrounding ESG, including the anti-ESG investment movement in the United States.
We hope to see you there!
Hosted by the Allard Women's Caucus.
