Belonging in Practice - Centering Wellbeing in the Legal Journey

Event Description

Explore how practices of wellbeing and belonging can support your personal and professional growth as a law student and future legal professional. This event invites UBC Law students to pause, reflect, and engage in practices that foster resilience, authenticity, and connection within the legal field.

Through grounding exercises, interactive IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Action) exercises, and a fireside discussion, you'll gain practical tools to support your development. The panel will feature leaders from the legal profession, including lululemon’s Chief Legal & Compliance Officer, Shannon Higginson, and Vice President of IDEA, Employee Relations & Employee Policy & Compliance, Stacia Jones, alongside with other inspiring voices from lululemon and McCarthy Tetrault LLP. Together, they’ll share candid insights on navigating law with care, purpose, and a sense of belonging.

Presented by lululemon and McCarthy Tétrault LLP.

Lunch will be served near the end of the program.
