Event Description:

If you want to become a lawyer in Canada, you first need to secure an articling job which will take place after you graduate from law school. Will you be looking for an articling job to start in 2025/26? Wondering where to begin looking, what the deadlines are, and how to maximize your job search success?

Articling deadlines for 2025/26 positions in Canada start as early as May 2024 (for Calgary/Saskatchewan/Manitoba/Ottawa); June 2024 (for Vancouver/Toronto) and continue through late 2025. Earlier deadlines correspond with structured articling recruitment cycles; later application deadlines correspond with legal employers who hire outside of these structured processes.
