Event Description
On January 22, The Allard Law Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee (JOHSC) is hosting a JOHSC Awareness Session. The JOHSC is an advisory group governed under the Workers Compensation Act, and its members meet once a month to ensure that occupational health and safety standards are met by all employees associated with the Allard School of Law. A representative from UBC Community Safety will also be available to answer questions around what to do in situations that require first aid, how to secure personal items and bikes appropriately, and the UBC Safe Vancouver app. Please stop by the desk to meet the committee members, and to find out more about workplace safety.
