Professor Nikos Harris will lead off this lecture with advice to the first years on academic strategies for engaging with the readings and classroom lectures. He will be followed by upper year peer tutors who will share their tips to get through the challenges of learning a whole new subject area. Building on the Orientation week lectures, they will provide advice on reading cases, finding the ratio, and balancing law school academic, social and extracurricular life.
No registration required. All first year students are invited to attend and just listen to the tips or ask the peer tutors questions.
This lecture will be presented in the Franklin Lew Forum and streamed simultaneously in DLA Piper Hall (room 104) for overflow.
