The Shape of Freedom Symposium

Event Description

Freedom and related concepts appear throughout the Canadian Constitution. How the Constitution conceives of freedom has profound effects on our daily lives. There is a notable shortage of scholarship on the constitutional meaning of freedom in Canada. Organized under the auspices of Christian Legal Fellowship's annual Symposium on Religion, Law and Human Rights, this event – The Shape of Freedom – will respond to this shortage by gathering scholars from various disciplines and intellectual vantage points to explore the meaning of freedom within Canada's constitutional landscape.
