Recognized nationally as one of Canada's most prestigious awards for women, the Women of Distinction Awards honour women whose outstanding achievements contribute to the well-being and future of our community. Professor Sarra was honoured in the category of Education, Training and Development. UBC alumna Lisa Vogt was also honoured at the awards, in the category of Business and the Professions.
