DLA Piper Hall, Rm 104
Beat the January blahs and learn about the positive side of stress over a free pizza lunch! Stress is portrayed in a negative light in the news, health forums, and the workplace. There is little doubt that most law students and lawyers experience stress on a regular basis. However, the new science of stress shows that your mindset about stress is key. A positive stress mindset means you view stress as enhancing, moving you to perform better. In this seminar led by Bena Stock, Associate Director at the Lawyers Assistance Program, you will be given the tools to identify and embrace a positive stress mindset.
Students wanting to attend must register via ACE Events by Monday, January 14 at 4:30pm. Space is limited, and registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. We expect this to be a popular event, so don’t miss out on your chance to attend!
This seminar is sponsored and organized by the Career Services Office.
