Do NOT work any hours on a statutory holiday or overtime hours without the written pre-authorization from your supervisor. The written approval must be sent to before the timesheet submission.

- Statutory holiday entitlement and pay is calculated for you. A list of statutory holidays honored at UBC can be found at Hours worked on a statutory holiday will be paid at time and a half.

- Daily overtime is considered after eight hours worked in a day and weekly overtime is considered 40 hours worked in a week.

Please submit your actual hours worked for the period. UBC recommends students to not work in excess of 7 hours per day or 35 hours per week.
