Event Description
This hybrid panel discussion will examine a hot topic in AI and policing: the Edmonton Police Service’s first-in-the-world trial of facial recognition technology integrated into Axon's police body-worn cameras. This timely conversation will explore legal, ethical, technological, and human rights implications of real-time biometric surveillance in policing. The panel will feature short presentations followed by a moderated discussion.
