Event Description
This session is exclusively for graduate law students at Allard.
Are you looking for an articling student job, or other legal or law-adjacent job in Canada? Put your best foot forward by formatting your resume, cover letter, and other law job application documents in the style that Canadian legal employers have come to expect. Make it easier for employers to see your strengths, decipher your previous experiences, and decide whether to shortlist you for an interview. This session will go over tips and tricks for drafting your resume, cover letter, emails, and other application documents as a graduate law student and/or NCA candidate. Attend this session (or watch the recording), review the resources in the CSO Resource Library on Canvas, and draft your own application materials – then book a 1:1 resume and cover letter review appointment with your career advisor Jenn Lau to get personalized advice and feedback on your drafts.
