A little dog therapy goes a long way
UBC Law students get treated to a week of stress-reducing activities before exams
The halls of Allard Hall might be quiet now, but just a week ago it was quite a different atmosphere as students were treated to a schedule of activities to help relieve those pre-exam jitters.
Now in its second year, We Love Law Students is a week-long event organized by the Assistant Dean, Students' office aimed at providing a fun and supportive environment for students before the flurry of finals.
The week started with some pre-exam tips, free yoga and a scribble board so that students can share words of encouragement with their peers. Dog therapy was also on the agenda for some stress-reducing cuddling along with free massages, therapy scream and a laughing circle.
It was a successful week that provided students with some harmless distraction from the stresses of final exams. On behalf of the Faculty of Law, good luck to all the students during exams!
Here are a few photos from the week.
