Bull Housser donates $45,000 to UBC Law
Bull Housser establishes full-tuition entrance award
We are pleased to announce that law firm Bull Housser, & Tupper LLP has established the Bull Housser Entrance Award, a $15,000 entrance award for first year students entering the JD program.
"Supporting UBC Law students is a priority for Bull Housser," says Managing Partner Simon Margolis, QC. "We chose to establish a full-tuition entrance award to reward a student who has excelled academically, while also demonstrating an entrepreneurial approach and commitment to community involvement and philanthropy, which are qualities that the firm holds as its core values."
"Bull Housser has shown a great commitment to UBC Law by establishing this award," says Robin Elliot, QC, Chair of the Scholarships & Awards Committee at UBC Law. "A full-tuition entrance award like this helps to ensure that UBC Law remains accessible to the best and brightest law students, no matter their financial circumstances, and rewards students for their exceptional work in the community."
The first Bull Housser Entrance Award was awarded to a top student entering the JD program this fall. To learn more about Bull Housser's culture, people, practice and clients, visit the firm's website or follow on Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+.
We would like to thank Bull Housser for its ongoing commitment to and support of our students and the Faculty of Law at UBC.
