Indigenous Legal Studies endeavors to ensure Indigenous student success at the Allard School of Law. We offer academic, cultural, and career support to Indigenous students. Academic assistance includes workshops, tutoring, and academic advising for Indigenous students. Cultural support consists of social gatherings and cultural workshops throughout the academic year. In terms of career support, Indigenous Legal Studies works closely with the Career Services Office at the Allard School of Law to assist Indigenous students in securing articling positions. Indigenous Legal Studies hosts an annual ILS networking reception and invites alumni to social events during the academic year to connect prospective employers with Indigenous law students.
